About

The hobbit and bookkeeper, Mr. Tigglesworth has entrusted the maintenance of this site to me. I am not a theologian. I am not a pastor or a priest. I am not Gandolf. But I have studied theology since I was a little girl. Children are experts at theology. The theology of existence. As we grow older, we often loose the greater questions in life to general practicalities.

Jesus is quoted as saying, “Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.” (Luke 18:17)

Sometimes I get very grown up in my thinking as adults tend to do. But I hope my rational always has the heart of a child. A child knows his parents love him and will never leave him. A child knows his parents love his brothers and sisters the same and will never leave them either. A child trusts most fully. A hobbit is a grown-up with a child-like heart. Still thinking the simple thoughts of a child. Yet speaking in the tongue of an adult.

May we never be afraid to ask the big questions, no matter how small we are!
